video Star Trek Continues

I know, this isn’t new at all, but i want to have it here for sentimental reasons. I was about 4 years old, when my mother took me to visit american friends at their home – Star Trek was on TV, I didn’t understand a word, but it still captivated me completely – and has not let loose since.

It is a crying shame that Paramount has starved this great Series to death – and i wonder what will happen to future generation’s morals and ethics without the guidance of a Jean-Luc Picard or Leonard McCoy?

There have been around a lot of fan-fiction recreations of Star Trek, Star Trek Phase II, Star Trek Axanar or Starship Farragut (and many others, i bet).

None of those reaches the quality of Vic Mignogna’s hommage to classic Trek, ‘Star Trek Continues‘. STC captures not only visual style and production value, but the very spirit of the classic episodes (This is mostly a compliment). The now have a ‘Kirkstarter‘ to fund their future projects – if you like what they are doing, chime in.

So far STC has produced three episodes continuing the missing two years of the original five year voyage of the starship Enterprise:

Episode 1 ‘Pilgrim of Eternity’ (With Michael Forest, guest actor of TOS Episode ‘Who Mourns for Adonais?‘)

Episode 2 ‘Lolani’ (With Lou Ferrigno, AWESOME!)

Episode 3 ‘Fairest of Them All’ (The mirror universe)
