E.g. he explains how experiments have proven the hypothesis that the level of personal assuredness of kinship (mothers now for certain that their children are carrying their genes, father have a lower level of assuredness) directly determines the level of affection (the example measured worth of marriage gifts) that is generally displayed towards the decendants.
